Glasgow City Boats offer yacht delivery services all throughout the UK and Europe. 

How it works?

If you have just bought a boat we can help deliver it, or if you are thinking about buying a boat, it can be good to widen your search area to find your perfect new boat. 

Glasgow City boats yacht delivery service is available to sailing yachts and motor boats alike. 

We have a highly professional team of outstanding skippers and crew able to travel. 

Some owners hire us to safely deliver their boat to their chosen destination. Some owners like to accompany us on the trip so they get to know their own boat in a stress free environment. We can also provide some training on the way. 

How long will it take?

There are a few factors to determine this. Weather, tides, moon phase, condition of boat, owners requirements. Generally our busiest route is from the Clyde to the Solent and vice versa. This trip usually takes around 5 days if we have a good weather window.

Inverkip – Southampton. 600 nm. Beneteau 48. 5 days. 

Hamble – Lossiemouth. 650nm. Colvic 35. 6 days. 

Bangor – Largs. 80 nm. Arcona 38. 1 day. 

We also specialise in shorter journeys, i.e within the Clyde. 

We can also assist with deliveries if the owner is wanting to skipper the yacht themselves and just want some reassurance or help from one of our crew that do these longer trips all the time.
